Since the start of COVID-19 pandemic the world has changed considerably and at Les Petites Cigognes we ensure we keep up-to-date with everything that will affect our guests in any way.
We rigorously adhere to all the appropriate regulations and advice, ensuring suitable social distancing measures and cleaning procedures are in place.
We recognise a number of key areas of possible concern to our guests:
- Cleaning. Our guests consistently score us very highly for the standard of cleanliness in the gites. However, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic we are extra rigorous when cleaning all frequently touched surfaces such as kitchen appliances taps, sinks and worktops, bathroom surfaces, sinks, taps and showers, dining and lounge areas such as TVs and remote controls, patio furniture. We use professional cleaning products and disinfectants. All linens and towels are washed at the highest heat setting recommended by the manufacturer. Vacuum cleaners, fridges, dishwashers and washing machines as well as everything around the swimming pool are disinfected appropriately.
- Open space. We know that many people want to get out into the open air after being in lockdown for a long period of time. Les Petites Cigognes is the perfect place for this. Our 3.3 hectares (8 acres) of grounds give everyone the opportunity to be outside whilst not being close together. In addition the patios are large, private and a good distance from each other. Away from Les Petites Cigognes there are a plethora of beautiful places to visit and many local walks along quiet country roads and footpaths.
- Payment and Cancellation Policy. For the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic we have adjusted this policy: a) A minimum 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. Should you be unable to fulfil the holiday because of government COVID-19 restrictions we are offering you the opportunity to move your dates and carry forward your deposit to the new dates. If that is not possible then a full refund will be given. b) Final payment will not be required until 28 days before arrival. c) We will continue to update this policy as necessary.
